Field Trips at Pioneer Village

Pioneer Village is open to school and extracurricular groups for field trips during November 2010. We offer a hands-on look into life of the early settlers. The students will get to experience what life was like for the Puritans in 1630 by visiting the various dwellings of the settlers, participating in a brief Sabbath Day meeting and playing colonial games. The program is run by costumed interpreters and takes between 1 and 1 ½ hours.

The cost is $8 per student with a complimentary chaperone for every 10 students. There is free parking in Forest River Park for visitors to Pioneer village. There are also picnic areas available inside the park. Please call (978) 867-4767 for more information or book a group. You can also email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
